Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MyAtlasPass LLC ("MyAtlasPass", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the MyAtlasPass mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
MyAtlasPass LLC is the controller of your personal information. You can reach us at support@myatlaspass.com, or by mail at MyAtlasPass LLC, 1111B S Governors Ave PMB 89478, Dover, DE 19904, United States.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information you provide when you register or update your profile: email address, password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form), first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, country, preferred language, interests, and profile photo.
- Location information. With your permission, we use your device's approximate or precise location to show nearby places, offers, and relevant content. You can disable location access in your device settings at any time.
- AI assistant & translator content. When you use the AI concierge or live translator, we process the text you type and the audio you record to generate responses, transcriptions, and speech. See "AI features" below.
- Usage & content data: trips you generate, places you save, searches, and how you interact with the Service.
- Purchase information. When you buy a pass or an eSIM, our payment processor collects and processes your payment details. We do not store your full card number; we receive a confirmation and limited transaction details.
- Device & diagnostic data: device model, operating system, app version, crash and error logs, and (if you enable notifications) a push notification token.
3. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and personalize the Service (content, places, offers, trips).
- Power the AI concierge, translator, and trip-planning features.
- Process purchases of passes and eSIMs and deliver what you bought.
- Authenticate you, keep your account secure, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Send you service messages and, where permitted, notifications about deals and updates.
- Diagnose problems, improve the Service, and comply with our legal obligations.
Where required by law (for example, in the EU/EEA under the GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you, your consent (e.g. for location and marketing notifications), our legitimate interests (e.g. security and improving the Service), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. AI features (concierge & translator)
To provide the AI concierge and live translator, the text and voice recordings you submit are sent to our servers and processed by trusted third-party AI providers on our behalf: Groq (language model) and ElevenLabs (speech-to-text and text-to-speech). These providers process your input only to return a result to you. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information in AI chats, and do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or other critical decisions.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing for passes and eSIMs.
- Airalo — provisioning and delivery of eSIM data plans you purchase.
- Groq and ElevenLabs — AI language, transcription, and voice, as described above.
- Sentry — crash and error reporting to keep the app stable.
- OneSignal — delivery of push notifications (if you enable them).
- Infrastructure providers — hosting and database services that store data on our behalf.
- Legal & safety — where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MyAtlasPass, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it.
7. Your rights & choices
- Access and update your profile information in the app.
- Delete your account at any time from the app (More → Delete Account), which deletes or anonymizes your personal information.
- Control permissions for location and notifications in your device settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your data, and to object or withdraw consent. EU/EEA/UK users have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any right, contact us at support@myatlaspass.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We and our providers may process your information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated in the app.
